The Current Beneath
Faking It Fox
Choosing what to show others can protect privacy, support a role, or help you get through a demanding moment. That choice can feel comfortable or tiring, and sometimes both. You decide where a polished presentation serves you and where you want more room to be candid.
Think of a moment when the version of you others saw differed from how you felt. What was happening?
Which parts of what you showed felt true? Which parts took effort to maintain?
What did that presentation make possible? What did it cost you, if anything?
Where, and with whom, might you want to show a little more of what is real for you?
What is one honest sentence you could offer without sharing more than you want to?
